  1. This train must be headed to the coach yard? If not I am surprised they are not moving through the “wash rack” as we called it back then. The grey structure next to that boxcar is where most trains headed to Union Station were washed prior to each trip. Awesome picture.

  2. As I remember this photo, the train was being pulled backward by a switcher. She was not heading to the station.
