  2. Yes usually once a week, although some weeks they don’t run. Come fall it’s not uncommon for them to make a couple extra runs per week to Blenheim.

    You guys seen the six axle power that used to down there on grain unit trains? Happened a few times a year… until the end too.

  5. Oh man, if only again. That scene is from an Eric Kruis dvd, it has a lot of good footage of that train, they looked like some pretty large trains when they did run.

  6. They were full unit trains.. I believe they would bring them down in parts, load them, bring back, go for another cut..

    took a few days to load..

    I never did see one.

  7. Taking a closer look I see the 4784 is still in stripes (they appear to be the ones where the white has turned rust coloured), I love the look of the old zebra’s. :-)
