CN returned to operation of the Okanagan sub in Dec.2013. Initially and before upgrading of the track only four axle locos were used, and this shot shows four such units running alongside Hwy97 and approaching Vernon from the north. The units seen are WC 3026,3027, CN 9551 & IC 3140.

  1. Interesting cycle …. what goes around comes around … real contrast of livery however with CN power compared to the light blue consists of the Kelowna Pacific Railway as photographed while visiting the picturesque Okanagan in 2007 and again 2009.
