Caption: CN S13 8518, one of the local switchers assigned to Spadina to shuffle around passenger consists, switches out a mixed consist of Ontario Northland and CN passenger cars from the combined Northland train. It's seen passing CN's Spadina Roundhouse just off Spadina Avenue, full of VIA passenger power between assignments.

The area in the foreground, once home to CN freight and LCL loading platforms and ramps, has mostly been cleared out for future redevelopment, with the lone track leading to Bathurst North Yard, by then used for GO Transit trains to layover.
