A nice shot. You can easily imagine this when standing here as the foundation is still in place as is some of the track top left..
Missed it by that much! I was 3 years too late by the time I started going after stations in Ontario. Of course, opposite side of the tracks stood the old witches hat style ‘Bridgeburg’ (I believe it was also known as ‘Fort Erie North’ at one time?) station for CN, demolished of course, long before the MCRR / TH & B station. Glad you captured it Arnold.
I think I only took a few photos with that station in the background. Probably late 90’s and it was a dump. Very sad to see what Fort Erie has become over the years, once a thriving city.
This lasted until late 90s?
