  1. Somebody at CP must be scratching their head about the yard that was built and never gets used. Maybe there is some type of future prospect that will fill the yard in the coming months.

  2. It was built likely over a hundred years ago, at that point dozens of industries were served out of this once very busy yard. Now two industries remain nearby and they are served directly from St-Luc Yard a couple of nights a week. I don’t see any future for this yard. It can’t really be developed for now as the yard is surrounded by a wye leading to the Lasalle Loop Spur, where those two remaining clients are located.

  3. Thanks for the info (looking forward to more GP38/ECO photos). The wye explains the shine on the tracks in the immediate foreground.
