  1. So Geoff – it turns out we likely met on this day as I was following them from Sarnia – you were probably with that group of “Windsor area” railfans I saw at Chatham Station this day. :)

  2. Ya, that was a good day. I can’t remember if we chased him from Sarnia down as well or not. I know we did a chase north with a pair of CP’s and then got back to Chatham in time to shoot the northbound CSX local. Sad that CN took the station (and everything else) down.

  3. I believe you guys started at Wallaceburg. That’s when I found a gaggle of tripod wielding ‘fans’ from the Windsor area. Bunch of guys from ‘the hub’ but at the time I didn’t know very many people :)

  4. In looking at pics I think we followed the CSX turn out of Windsor to Chatham. Then, once this guy came south, we started north along the line. We caught the northbound at Tupperville, and then going over the Bridge in Wallaceburg. We headed south back to Chatham and the local, with 2 CSX GP38′s, was heading north past the old engine house. At least that’s the trail of photos I have. You probably saw us as the northbound crossed the river.

  5. Don’t disagree. I don’t know why (amateur) but I largely ignored the engine house in Chatham. Got into the one in Blenheim though just before it was being torn down.
