CP train 417 has no CP units today with CEFX 126 an UP 9569 providing the ponies. 417 was the new designation for train 511 which had always been a candidate for cool power. I believe 417 went on to be renumbered 243, which I believe still operates today? CEFX 126 went on to become INDR 9003, then eventually NS SD70acu 7336.

  1. No more 243′s…

241 runs every so often… there are no other 24x trains though otherwise.

I was out for a lot of this stuff but my camera sucked, glad someone was out getting good pictures, because I wasn’t.

  2. Bummer! 243/417/511 was always a good bet for cool power.

I understand how you feel, thats how I feel when guys post stuff from 98-99 I was out a bit then, but I sucked.. and slide film was never forgiving.
