CSX management special sits in front of Conrail's historic station at St Thomas. Before being able to record the cars we where escorted off the property by a CSX special constable from the US that was riding the train.The station at St Thomas has been preserved and is still under going renovations.

  2. First time seeing this image.
    Strange that a CSX special agent would “enforce” a trespassing issue on property not owned by CSX !
    I vaguely recall this train being operated. I would imagine it led to the further curtailment of the East End operations ( from 5 days down to 3) among other things.
    In hindsight, I’m sure you could’ve obtained the car ID’s from the platform.

  3. And what jurisdiction would a US CSX constable have in Canada?
