Do you recognize this location ? CN EB 318 taken from the Hopkins street overpass. March 1989. Compare this view to recently posted shots at this location. In the back ground is Victoria street, still a level crossing and the spur track to Superior propane is also viable. To the right of the two class units is what was called a pole line in them days. What a difference 26 years makes.

  1. I’ll bite.. what’s the rail line in the top right? Fantastic shot, hope you have more from this wonderful location :)

  2. The rail line on the right side of the train was the switch back spur line for superior propane. This track was removed when the new eastern section of GO was put in. Cant remember the year of hand. Tank cars of propane where unloaded here.

  3. Looks like a spur off the former Whitby, Port Perry & Lindsay line.
