On a clear and warm April 18, 2025 morning, snow gear equipped CN 612-50 a Kershaw Mfg. 46-6-1 combination ballast regulator/snow fighter, serial number C46-420-98, built in 1998, sits parked on a dead-end back track at Westwold, BC Mile 37.8 CN Okanagan Sub. on April 18, 2025. 
This Work Equipment machine was built new at the Kershaw Mfg. plant in Cornwall, ON in 1998.

  1. Looks like some after market light brackets on the plow?

  2. Yeah, being a different shade of yellow paint, likely a field modification to get some light to the track out in front of that large Craig high-speed V-plow.
    It looks like this particular unit hasn’t made it to a main shop for quite some time!
