Five EMD units (four GP-38-2s and one SD60) and two GEs lead 255 off the siding in Welland as they begin to depart, heading north to work Kinnear next. The crew tried to put the GEs on point, but could not get air and, luckily for me, had to revert back to leading with 4439. The track in the foreground is the CASO Spur, which heads west straight as an arrow for about 11 miles to the junction with the Dunnville Spur. This trackage all exists for one customer - Innophos in Port Maitland. Innophos is served by TE21 (Welland Yard night job) twice a week.

  1. Jamie man you keep nailing these awesome trains keep em coming

  2. Very nice as always. Why so much power?

  3. Thanks guys

The two GEs were over in Buffalo as the previous 255 did not run. Saturday’s 254 was the five EMDs. So all seven were coming back on 255.

  4. I wonder if CP wasn’t pretty happy with some of the roads they absorbed. All the GP38′s from SOO had to be a bonus. And you see the 4400′s across the system.
