Freshly donated. CP 1608 (nee CP 8611) has been donated to Exporail and was dropped off by CP this afternoon at the museum. Here it is seen during a brief period of sunlight. Later it would take a spin on the turntable on the way to entering Exporail's 2-stall enginehouse. This is the second GP9 to join Exporail's collection; AMT 1311 (nee CN 4307) was donated by the AMT a couple of years back. 1. Tied up servicable at St. Luc in Feb, retired in May, earmarked for scrapping with the others but it seems it was saved from the torch. Nice to see one preserved!
