Getting some TLC VIA 6415 is on the point of VIA 001 The Canadian at Jasper, AB Mile 0.0 CN Albreda Sub. on August 2, 2025, and is getting a little Tender Loving Care from VIA Rail maintenance personnel during the trains stop in the historic town. Front windshields are getting a thorough cleaning, and a replacement right side ditch light is about to be installed. When arriving as scheduled, the early morning 3-hour stop allows plenty of time for a walk around town, and for some great railroad photography. :-)

    Clean the windshield, check the oil, kick the wheels, and fill her up with regular ? Was the 3rd diesel unit dropped at Winnipeg ? Thanks for sharing, John

    Yes, VIA 6438 was dropped in Winnipeg.
