Caption: GP-9 ETL 108 is hauling it's butt off as it struggles to switch 50 or 60 cars in the Ojibway yard. The 0630 job will come to town shortly from Amherstburg and these two trains will exchange quite a few cars with each other, while 108 on the 0930 will switch customers in the area including the nearby Morterm, the ETR's sister company. This railway is one of the most under-rated shortlines in the country, not often focused on by fans, and next to the White Pass and Yukon is the oldest continuously operating shortline in the country. (The WP&Y did shut down for a time!). ETL 108 is now headed to Lambton Diesel for work and let's hope it escapes the "new paint" treatment as all the other ETR locomotives have had - this is the last in ETR yellow - if it does get repainted, that will be the end of an era, until some day when the Yellow paint becomes "heritage" again :) Hey Windsor boys, how's the 4620 doing down there? :)

Good stuff, Stephen.
