Great shot, I miss the old Chessie paint scheme…on Biggar Road and Crowland where the CP/NYC crossing exists, a Wig Wag was at that location up to probably 20 years back… was always amazed to see it…
Love the “wig wag” level crossing signal – impeccable timing, catching the swinging arm “out” with red disc indicating stop for vehicles. The irony is the old warning arm still operating, but the cross-buck sign is the “(new” version with no lettering on it, thanks to Trudea’s federal bilingual requirement that wording on all signs on federal regulated property be in both French and English – hence no lettering.
