Harvest season is upon us. A pair of Parish and Heimbecker units creep along the elevator track at Oban, slowly loading grain for export on the west coast. On the mainline, S 77581 13 races by with a 203 car frac sand train, bound for the oil fields of Western Canada, where “harvest season” runs year round.
