Having arrived on CSXT train 320, units 7069 and 8356 prepare to depart St. Thomas South with train 321 on a fine spring morning in April 1992. Little did we know at that time that CSX operations on the CNCP Caso sub would end 4 years later when CN and CSX reached a haulage rights agreement for Buffalo traffic. (CSX trains on the Caso ended 25 years ago this month—April 1996; facilitating de facto abandonment between Fargo and Hewitt.)

  1. Fun to imagine these blasting through La Salette.

  2. Nicely done

  3. Correction: The last CSX run was February 29, 1996 (not April).
