When I used to photo trains heading for Waterways, the subdivision names were, Egremont (or connecting track) to Lac La Biche as Lac La Biche Sub. Then Lac La Biche to Waterways as the Waterways Sub. I’m wondering, when they abandoned the Coroando Sub. east of Radway, which will have left just a stub from the connecting track to Radway, did they combine the Coronado Sub. from St. Paul Jct. to Kerensky with everything north of Egremont (including the Waterways Sub.)? Then name all that the Lac La Biche Sub? As I already said, I have always wondered what happened to things after the abandonment. The Coronado Sub. was not going to be a money maker, especially when the jet fuel traffic was taken away. The best business is north to Fort McMurray, as you are well aware.
