In a happy coincidence of my first full year with a driver’s licence and the last full year of CP FM/CLC road power, an eastward train from Midway to Nelson was followed, mainly to photograph lead unit CP 4104 with 8509 + 8555 + 8526 assisting. Shown here crossing the Kootenay River near Taghum on Friday 1974-10-11, just four miles from Nelson.
