In the early 1970s, one could occasionally find CN passenger power in freight service. Here we have train 252, the Monday-Friday piggyback and container train just beginning its nocturnal trip to Montreal behind FPA4 6763 as well an F9B and FPB4. (Spadina was also know to "grab" units laying over and use them on Oakville sub runs.)
