INCO Alco S-2 switcher # 203 is shown resting, or rusting, away behind the NRE facility in Capreol, Ontario in August 2010. # 203 began life as Western Maryland 144 in December 1946, then to CIL in 1967, then to INCO in 1983, and finally donated to the Northern Ontario Railway Museum in Capreol in 1998. It appears that the unit never made it to the museum property and I am not certain of the final disposition of the unit.

  1. Saw it in Capreol a few years ago, lettered GCK 144, so presumably now owned by George’s Creek, but don’t know of plans for it.
