Even on a Tuesday in March, this early morning run warrants a big consist. It was probably well-filled going west the night before as train 77. 6782 went for scrap, but 6793 was initially operated as Western Maryland Scenic RR ” B&O 893″ before ending up on the Grand Canyon Rly, renumbered to 6793 again. Just to expound on my own caption – 6793 indeed is still in use, looking to be repowered.

Must feel right at home in the snow, even if it is Grand Canyon National Park, south rim overlook.
