  2. Paul, great picture ! One thing that hasn’t changed in the last 70 years is the iconic Bathurst St bridge. It certainly identifies the scene. One other item that was here 70 years ago is the dome car you are riding in, plus the dome in front of you. One thing that has changed are the searchlight signals and pot signal; they weren’t there when I was taking photos of steam locomotives at this very location. I note no. 1 has 3 diesel engines; was the train consist more than the usual summertime consist of 20 cars ? Many thanks for posting,enjoy the ride, John

    3 units and 20 cars out of Toronto. VIA 6438 was dropped at Winnipeg.
