Lytton, on CN’s Ashcroft subdivision between Kamloops Jct. (0.0) and Boston Bar (125.5) and at the confluence of the Fraser and Thompson Rivers, originally had a Canadian Northern Pacific depot on the site of the modest VIA flagstop shelter (complete with the green-and-white flagstop signal) shown here on Friday 1980-05-23 looking eastward. The substantial building nearby was a repeater station for telegraph and telephone signal circuits.

    Check https://search.nbca.unbc.ca/index.php/c-n-r-depot-at-lytton for a David Davies view of the original Lytton depot in October 1965.
