Merritton was a busy spot back in 1999 after Trillium Railway had taken over all the CN trackage in St. Catharines and Thorold. or CN ran 564 from Niagara Falls to Merritton to do the Interchange with Trillium for a short term. After a few weeks, the Interchange was transferred to Feeder. 

PCHR 308 waits for its cars on the south track of the CN Grimsby Sub while CN 564 is setting out and lifting cars on the south side.
