In 1970-71 its siblings CP 8035 and 8040 were much more frequently seen here. The RS-23′s did their yard switching singly, I never saw them MU’d in pairs. Alco S-2 switcher CP 7042 was another regular. No structure or tree visible beyond the tracks remains – the CP structures were all demolished, while the adjacent neighborhood was cleared to make way for Quebec Autoroute 40.
