Caption: Nice clear morning to go and take a shot of the LRT coming down from the Davies elevated station. The station is well above the ground. Going south, the LRT has to pass over Argyll road (4 lanes), then the CP tracks and finally 75th street (4 lanes), before returning to ground level. I would love to catch an early morning shot with the LRT right up on the bridge. As can be seen, there are nasty fences and higher up the fence changes to concrete. Leaving the bottom 3rd obliterated, darn. This photo was taken at the north end of the bridge.

Nice shot Parks.
Clean train. Perfect sun angle!
Thanks Paul.
Not the wildest subject for train photos, but, you can ride your mountain bike to go do it. Plus, you can find endless places to shoot angles from. You’re in a neighbourhood instead of rail property. Nobody has given a hassle, unlike rail where they do come and say it’s time to go.
I’m not the biggest fan of transit, but I think every transit system in the country deserves to be on here, as long as it uses some kind of steel rails
Gold star!!
Thank you for the support Steve. I’m happy to say there are several repeat fellows enjoying transit scenes. I will say for myself, since joining in 2014, I’ve developed interest in the Toronto rail trolleys. There are number of pictures by Mr. Farkas and Dano (an interesting handle for Mr. Dell’Unto – gee, I wonder if he is involved with someone named Steve
) that are great, not just for the trolley, but the urban settings that they were photo’d in.
