Pictured is CN 542 crossing Highway 6/7, the “Hanlon Expressway” in Guelph. Construction has begun on the new highway 7 finally, and this rail crossing will be closed in the not too distant future (about a year). In it’s place a new connection west of Royal Road will be constructed to connect the North and South GJR industrial spurs (it will cross Massey road near Hood Packaging/Hastech).
