Not many railways cross what you may consider a 'divided highway' and this is one of the few spots in Canada. 
Pictured is CN 542 crossing Highway 6/7, the "Hanlon Expressway" in Guelph. Construction has begun on the new highway 7 finally, and this rail crossing will be closed in the not too distant future (about a year). In it's place a new connection west of Royal Road will be constructed to connect the North and South GJR industrial spurs (it will cross Massey road near Hood Packaging/Hastech). CN gave up/lost the traffic to Smurfit-Stone (Packaging plant) so they rarely cross here anymore, GEXR/GJR handles this work now
