Caption: OK, here's the thing. It's cold for Ontario.....-15. I know that's T-shirt weather for many of you. An awful lot of past Ontario winters have been -2. which means packing snow...that doesn't fly. Flying snow means speed, and there is, IMHO, nothing better than a train at speed. That said, I don't envy the crew switching at Wolverton 15 miles ahead, where the blowing snow will fill the switches as fast as they can clean them. Fr example, 239 will be 35 minutes behind this one, 25 minutes of that cleaning out the power switch at Campbellville. There is nothing easy about winter on the railroad.
