On a hot July afternoon one could feel the humidity after a brief downpour. Being only 4 years old at the time, my grandfather took this photo of a mid-afternoon VIA train, heading west to Toronto.

You will note that the two tracks in the foreground, is the 'actual' Kingston Sub. CN realigned the tracks due to the construction of the Centre Street underpass, and installed a temporary level crossing just behind us to divert traffic.
