On a sunny January day, we are looking east from the former NS&T bridge over the CN Grimsby sub, as a Hamilton bound freight passes. The train has just passed under the old Merritt Street bridge. The rail bridge carried the Trillium Rail Town Line Spur, now out of service, the span has been removed.

  1. The bridge is still here. The tracks have been removed however.

  2. Thanks for the correction, I guess I was thinking of the Oakdale Avenue arch. http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=18916

  3. I’ve wanted to shoot from here, but I don’t know how strong this bridge is anymore
