Caption: On a warm morning during the summer of 1976, CN 6060 slows to a stop at the Burlington station. During this time period, CN ran weekend excursions Toronto to Niagara Falls and return, with stops at Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton. The price was low and the experience was thrilling. Two different occasions I took my Father on a trip, and we stood in the baggage car both times after leaving Merritton, just to catch the sights and sounds of climbing up the grade to Clifton. Good times.
