On the 11th of october, 2025 I chased a CP CWR train from North bolton, Ontario to Emery where they reside as I submit this image. Leading the train was Multimark EMD SD40-2 6045 and trailing behind it Beaver 2 SD40-2 6068. Later in the day I saw them at the Nashville road grain elevator and both daytime and night shots of them sitting in emery siding. at first I thought they would tie down in bolton but they were not able to fit the train into the siding so they ran it down for a few miles to emery.

  1. Nice capture and congrats on image #1. How far north does the CTC extend on the Mactier Sub ?

  2. Very nice. Nicely frame by the signals.

  3. This image (Bolton North) is the northern end of the CTC on the Mactier. There are CTC islands at Spence and Baxter, but thats it for the Mactier sub.
