On the north side of the tracks, across from the restored TH&B Smithville station stood a handsome brick building from the, I'm guessing, the 1930's.  A Hamilton bound freight, led by GP38-2 3038, runs through.

  3. The brick building is no more, it looks like it would likely have been a shop. And likely got some trade from those using the station I would think. I would very much like to see a photo of it in its heyday.
