Only the best in St. Catharines. The best track, where the train can rock 'n roll side to side and lots of scrap metal lying all over the place. Such is the scene on the former NS&T Lakeshore spur near Canadian Erectors.

  1. They’ve reactivated this part of the trackage to store boxcars for WP on. I assume it’s because of the overflow of NS coils that had to be stored while they were investigating the wheels.

  2. It was closed?

  3. Canadian Erectors otherwise known as TIW went belly up!

  4. Steelcon (Trenergy) has bought the plant though, so we’ll see if anything happens there

  5. Wild. BTW, Steelcon and Trenergy are different companies.

  6. St Catharines and Hamilton continue to get closer together…! Sure seems the same appearance wise these days

  7. They’re only separated by the letters QEW!

  8. I just spoke to the company, they did not go bankrupt, they closed the shop in St. Catharines though.

Canadian Erectors (parent company of) and TIW is still operating, and their office is still there.. the shop is closed. They have shops in other locations..
