Caption: Orangeville-Brampton Railway's GP9 CCGX 1000 sits in her usual parking spot on the station track, coupled to the usual Credit Valley Explorer passenger cars as they sit idle on a quiet winter's morning in Orangeville. There was hopes that the usual freight would run today (Wednesday) because of all the recent snowfall, but they had in fact cleared the yard and run the previous day (Tuesday), as usual. There was little happening in Orangeville, but a few shots were taken of the train and its new station (with its new GO Transit shelter added, used by the Orangeville GO bus, that I also met and shot enroute during the trip back south to Brampton).
And today, there's even less happening down at the station in Orangeville...that GO bus is about the only kind of passenger service they'll see for a loooong time (and even that's not safe from the occasional GO low ridership cuts).
