OSR’s Tilsonburg Job is seen blasting through Walker Road in the fields of Southern Ontario after lifting one tank car from IGPC Ethanol in Aylmer. Hard to believe this is it. This is the last (OSR) run on CN’s Cayuga Sub that’s seen many Wabash/N&W/NS run through trains in it’s time prior to the early 90’s. OSR’s plans to seize operations on the line between St Thomas and Tilsonburg really looked like reality today as they cleared every single tank car from Tilsonburg Yard on it’s return trip to St Thomas. It was great shooting it and it will truly be interesting to know what the future of the former “Air Line” has to offer. As a note, the motion blurred Mazda in the shot is RP contributes Mike Molnar and Alex Sanders who clearly lost the race to the intersection against 6508.

  5. Great pan shot ! Sixty years ago, could have been a Wabash F unit doing the same thing ! Well done, thanks for sharing

  6. @Railfan..now, now. Please no racing the train to the crossing…lol. You know how well that usually turns out :-)

  7. @Alex, the Mazda power could’ve beat it, but it is a manual transmission so if ya stalled in front of 6508, oh boy yesterday’s chase would’ve been different.

  8. This aged well
