Passenger Excursion "Chairman Train",on BC Rail. This was day 3 of the 4 day trip that I was Engineer on. Initially we started at North Vancouver to Whistler, day 2 was Whistler to Prince George, day 3 Prince George to Exeter, day 4 Exeter to North Vancouver. A lot of rail miles and throttle hours in 4 days. We stopped at Deep Creek bridge, mile 330 on the Prince George subdivision for a few images. Deep Creek bridge is approximately 1200 feet long and 322 feet high, construction completed in 1920 built by Canadian Bridge Co of Walkerville Ontario. Oddly enough Deep Creek bridge spans Hawks Creek.
On the initial northbound portion of this excursion, there were numerous guests and dignitaries on board, including CN Chairman of the Board, several members of the CN Board of Directors, a former US ambassador to Canada, couple other high profile persons and their spouses. The only person missing was EHH.
