Caption: CP RS10 8571 leads a leased SOO F7B unit and CP SW1200RS 8127 on an extra freight over CN at Port Credit in 1964. Note the beaver shield mounted on the front end of 8571: all CP hood units equipped with steam generators for passenger service originally had a small beaver shield applied to their front ends. The SOO B-unit trailing was one of a number of SOO F-units leased by CP in 1963-64.

    Notice 8571 has two ‘lightweight’ MLW trucks instead of AAR type Bs
