Sometimes little gems are hidden along tracks that you don't realise. Along the Fonthill spur, there use to be an old fashioned wooden stop sign. Stop signs along rails are odd enough, but rarely you see one like this. Sometime during 2014 this was removed and replaced with a regular stop sign.

  1. Very nice

  2. Thank you!

  3. Cool shot. Really though stop signs along the railway aren’t really odd, especially on Spurs and industrial trackage.

  4. Google street view from May 2014 shows this sign and the new sign side by side.

  5. That was probably the last time it was there then. I wish I was paying attention then, because I pass this location all the time and didn’t even notice until I discovered this photo again.
