Thanks to good friends, I got a message about H17 going light up the Mactier, and later got an additional update about them lifting at Lambton... So...naturally, me and Isaac decided to follow him up the Mactier starting at mile 6...and after much confusion over the radio, and multiple plan changes over where H17 fit in between trains 112, 113, 114, and 421, we got ahead of him at Humber Station Rd and snapped a great frame of them knocking down the intermediates mile 24 in amazing afternoon light. Two GP38's (one a GP40X) full throttle, 7000 ft of autos, two determined railfans, and one great result...this shot.
