Caption: The CN 15:30 Kitchener Job is viewed switching in Elmira, Ontario on the Waterloo Spur with a lengthy train and GP9RM’s 7030 and 4141. At the time, the job only operated with two units when it was necessary and on this day, both Nutrite and Sulco Chemicals in Elmira were receiving several cars. The springtime was always a busy period for Nutrite receiving hoppers. Also, the crew had a loaded lumber car that they would set-off at Fairway Lumber in St. Jacobs on their return trip south to Kitchener.
