The engineer of TH&B GP7 73 watches as he shoves a cut of cars into the ADM Mill on the west side of the canal in Port Colborne. I'm unsure of the date, likely around 1980.

  1. Now this is rare – nice catch! How did TH&B run to Port Colborne?

  2. Good question, I thought they only ran on the east side of the canal, using running rights on CN tracks. When I was first scanning this neg, I assumed they were going to the Inco plant, but the street signs say otherwise.

  3. I’m surprised no one has chimed in. Please and thank you to anyone who replies here for the sake of discussion :) Cheers

  4. Lots of interesting info on the TH&B Yahoo site, clarifying the service to Port Colborne. thb_hs@yahoogroups.com
