Caption: The engineer of this eastbound CN freight throttles up his three GP9 units as they motor through Bayview Junction in the evening. CN 4516, 4575, and 4588 lead with some piggyback traffic up front (with a pair of Imperial Roadways "Puptainer Service" trailers riding at the head end).
The CN-style spark arrestors on the roof gave CN's GP9 units (and other GMD units with them) a distinct exhaust note, sounding like dull thumping on the side of a steel drum. This carried over to the rebuilt units that retained them.
