  3. Classic CN Geep leader!

    The first flatcar appears to be three backhoes, the second two bulldozers, the third some crates and the forth another (larger) bulldozer. Probably all equipment brought in from the states for local resale.

  4. I second Terry’s comment, the barrel headlight is classic.

    This gets me thinking… was this style of headlight also used in the USA, or mainly Canada? A quick search doesn’t turn up much for this style south of the border other than some WP examples… and on SP, but with the twin sealed beam below it.

  5. A lot of early EMD switchers used this single reflector headlight style (in a different housing, with built-in numberboards).

    The only US road that really opted for the separate housing like this on their Geeps was WP, continuing into their GP35 orders. On the SP this kind of lens housing on their GP and SD units was actually for a Gyralite, hence the normal headlights below.
