  1. Great framing of train. The sign must be for Oakville’s “small” yard.

  2. Great photo Terry, keep those Oakville pics coming! I have such fond memories of that crossing at Chartwell Rd as a teenager! During school lunch break I would head over there, and in the summer evenings always made my way there to see the CP Starlight and the Ford Turn. I still have a CN and CP employee timetable a friendly engineer gave me from 86. Great times….
    I would love to have the old Oakville Yard sign in my collection!

  3. Thank you for your comments guys. I’m not quite sure what happened too the attention to detail and quality control in the sign shop? It is always nice to know a photo brings out past memories. Maybe the old sign got discarded trackside?
