These were fun times, at least for the railfans. As for the railroaders the Burford spur saw little maintenance over its last years prior to the last customer taking over what remained of the line. This day this would be as far as the crew would go thanks to derailing a car near the one time TH&B yard. Eventually crews would retail the car and fix the rails. Today the last customer has actually fixed up the line and a hi-rail vehicle is now used to take cars between the CN interchange and the industry.
