Caption: This is my last photo taken on March 27, 1986. That haze in the air is in fact smoke from a grass fire on the hill over my right shoulder. After the train passed, I escaped by crossing the tracks and then a footbridge over the Bow River.
As for the train, it is a westbound manifest at Edworthy Park, in West Calgary. Although it looks like a sulphur train - buffer car and black gondolas, I think that the gon's may be for aggregate, and the grain car may not be placed as a buffer. Presumably, there are other types of cars and cargo on the train out of frame.
