This photo location was not a spot I wanted to try for many years after this picture was taken. The shrubbery had grown thick and the area became undesirable. In the recent years, an access road has been built for the construction work in the area which resulted in removal of the foliage. Here we see a pair of C630-M's with some first generation units hauling a train out of Hamilton at Hamilton Jct. The single track on the right is known as the "Cow Path" and connects with the Dundas Sub. at what used to be Hamilton West. (now all part of the Bayview plant)

  1. Sweet!!! I tried a time machine shot with Steve Danko’s TH&B shot (http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=12998) as inspiration, but I don’t think it turned out all that good. I’ll have to try again, on a cloudy day perhaps. I don’t think I got it quite right.

  2. Steve, might be best on a cloudy day or late afternoon but I think the tracks may be in shadow by time it gets around that far in the fall. Might be a summer time effort but there is no traffic then.

  3. It’s not Hamilton; it’s heaven! Keep them coming.

  4. a pair of MLW’s finest, C-630M circa 1967; not to mention that RS10 in Green and Gold (well I did), fantastic! more please!

  5. I am not sure where all these pics are coming from Dave but…more please!! Awesome.
